We are fortunate to live in a beautiful part of the world on the outskirts of the spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire.

At the start of Spring, as we entered a nationwide ‘lockdown’ the hospitality business I’d been running for the past 15 years was forced to close its doors for 3 months. I knew then I’d have the opportunity to work on a project I’d been planning for some time, so in April 2020 

The Harrogate Hamper Company was born.

Prior to running my own business I’d been a Product Manager for Hallmark Cards where I developed valuable experience in a commercial design environment.  This experience has enabled me to visualise the end product and appreciate the attention to detail that gives a gift its unique quality and style.

My husband had previously run his own deli and wine shop and had always sold hampers in the run up to Christmas. With his passion for food and wine, working together on this project seemed the natural thing to do. We only select foods and wines for our hampers that we’d be happy to eat or drink ourselves. Many of these products are made by true artisans who regularly receive gold stars at the prestigious annual Great Taste Awards. 

We have a range of hampers at various price points but are more than happy to create a bespoke, individual hamper for you.

During lockdown I discovered there were many occasions when I wanted to send a gift; a friend’s birthday, an anniversary or just as a ‘thank you’ to name a few. A friend once told me that if you’d like to receive the gift you are sending, as in to keep it for yourself, then you know it’s a nice present.

We’re hoping The Harrogate Hamper Company caters for all these occasions and many more. We think more than ever this year, as we are separated from friends and loved ones, that it’s important to find that special & unique gift.
